there's a playground right by my apartment...I frequent it in the wee hours of the morn. Not because I'm embarassed to be seen there, but because it's the only time the children aren't around. I don't need people thinking I'm a pedo. o_o WOO SENIOR YEAR IN COLLEGE HERE I COME!
Ok, little Matt M. with Turtles lunchbox is just too much xD.
And is this Arana? Oo
Anyway, I love swings. I hadn't swing for two years for real didn't have that feelin', just last friday on a trip near seaside there were two near our hotel, and with my friend we decided to have some plain fun. I'm 20 and she's 17 but who cares the age when it was 32 degrees and swinging was the only way to get some wind
Hey, you're never too old for the swings... unless they're not rated for adults, then the chain breaks and you hurt yourself. Anyways, Lilo and Stitch are going to have some fun going to first grade in Otto and Spidey's school.
Aw, there's no shame in playing on the playground. Just about a month ago, I was passing one and went, "*gasp* Look! Slides! *as I got closer* Look! A tire swing!" There is a point where you get too big for the bouncy horses, though...
Makes me think of the time I went to my old kindergarten playground when I was in 8th grade...we'd had this tube we used to just sit in...and I tried to fit...and my knees were practically touching the top of my head just trying...
I remember the feeling I had when I realized we were not allowed on the playground anymore. All we got to play on was a giant square of mostly-dirt-some-turf, and we liked it (ya young whippersnappers). Then of course I went to highschool where the general impression was, "You talk at lunchtime. That what you chicks like, right? Talking?" and I guess that if you're mature enough you can make your own entertainment (and I am not at all downloading the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, how dare you accuse me of such juvenility...ous. Nous. Um).
Something about this comic seems to inspire reminiscence. Proud?
Big kid Apple Juice! That is hilarious to me. And the expressions are, as ever, completely wonderful. He looks so...hunted in the last panel, like he's expecting the Maturity Police to come along ANY SECOND. Bwah, Lil' Spidey has web-ded my heart. Also, forget Daredevil and Lilo, whose that kid with spikey hair in the foreground? My comics knowledge is woefully ker-blanking. And is it just me, or has Petey gotten a little more buff over the holidays?
Man, not in my highschool, but in my middle school, they had boys and girls sit on opposite sides of the caffeteria. How lame is that? And they alternated days where the boys or girls got up first to get lunch. I think they said it had something with keeping noise down...
See, if they made play equipment big enough for me, I'd still play on it. I try anyway, when we go to the park, but I sometimes end up getting stuck. Nice incorporation of some other characters, there.
Go Spidey go! We had one of those rocky-things at our church's preeschool not too long ago, heck I used to sit on it, surf on it...jungle gyms are fun But I think they took it out cause big goobers like me were playing on the toys
